Vision Statement

Empowering Christian counselors worldwide to bring hope and healing through Christ-centered care.

Mission Statement

The Canadian Association of Christian Counselors Professionals (CACCP) exists to promote and support the practice of biblically-based Christian counseling across Canada and internationally. We are committed to equipping counseling professionals and pastoral leaders with the tools, training, and certification necessary to integrate faith and counseling, while adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards.

The Canadian Association of Christian Counselors Professionals (CACCP) is a self-regulated faith-based organization dedicated to equipping individuals with the tools, knowledge, training, and spiritual foundation needed to provide effective Christian counseling. We are a certifying body that ensures counselors working within the church or faith-based communities meet high professional, ethical, and spiritual standards while integrating Christian principles into their practice.

Our organization serves as a trusted resource for pastors, churches, and counselors who aim to offer guidance, healing, and hope rooted in biblical truth. We believe in the transformative power of counseling when it is grounded in the teachings of Christ and delivered with professional excellence.

CACCP global vision is to promote, standardize, and regulate Christian counseling while empowering individuals to serve others with the highest level of competence and integrity.

In addition to certifying professionals, CACCP is dedicated to the development of biblical and theological counseling principles that address the emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of individuals, families, and communities. Our mission extends to advancing the understanding and application of Christian counseling in Canada and internationally, aiming to bring healing to souls, restoration to relationships, and renewal to minds.

As a non-denominational and inclusive organization, CACCP offers certifications and training programs to equip both faith-based and clinical counselors. While our focus remains rooted in Christian principles, our clinical courses are open to individuals of all faith groups who seek to practice counseling ethically and professionally. CACCP certifications and credentials are issued under the authority of laws governing Canadian provinces and territories, ensuring compliance and professional recognition.

Our History

Founded in 2022, CACCP began with a vision to bridge the gap between the church and professional counseling. Recognizing the increasing emotional and mental health challenges faced by individuals and families, our founders sought to create a resource for churches to develop members who could provide skilled, Christ-centered counseling.

What started as a small group of passionate Christian leaders has grown into a national organization with a global vision. CACCP has quickly become a beacon for those seeking to integrate faith and counseling, empowering churches to meet the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of their communities.
